Controller & Finance Operations Manager (all genders) - 20 hrs/week

WHAT YOU DO

Erstellung regelmäßiger Management-Reports (wöchentlich, monatlich, quartalsweise) für CFO, Budgetverantwortliche und relevante Stakeholder
Unterstützung bei Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen
Steuerung des Projektcontrollings für künstlerische Produktionen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Projektmanagement
Verantwortung für Budget-, Liquiditäts- und Forecastplanung inkl. Abweichungsanalysen, Szenario-Planung und KPI-Monitoring
Durchführung von Ad-hoc-Analysen als Entscheidungsgrundlage für die Geschäftsführung
Aktive Kostensteuerung nach Kostenstellen und Projekten sowie Identifikation und Umsetzung von Effizienz- und Optimierungspotenzialen
Sicherstellung der gemeinnützigkeitsrechtlichen Compliance sowie Prüfung, Überwachung und Administration von Verträgen
Zentrale finanzielle Schnittstelle (intern sowie extern)
Weiterentwicklung von Controlling-Prozessen, Reporting-Standards und Systemen inkl. Mitwirkung bei der Auswahl von Controlling-Software und Verantwortung für das IT-Budget im Finance-Bereich

WHO YOU ARE

Abgeschlossenes Studium der (BWL, Wirtschaftswissenschaften) oder vergleichbare Qualifikation durch Ausbildung und Berufserfahrung
4-6 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Controlling, idealerweise in projektbasierten und / oder gemeinnützigen Organisationen
Fundierte Kenntnisse in Buchhaltung, Controlling und Finanzplanung
Grundkenntnisse im Gemeinnützigkeitsrecht oder die Bereitschaft, dich schnell einzuarbeiten
Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office, insbesondere Excel
Finanzsoftware-Kenntnisse sind von Vorteil - wir freuen uns auf Angaben zu deiner bisherigen Erfahrung
Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (mindestens C1)
Strukturierte, präzise und eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise sowie die Fähigkeit, komplexe Finanzsachverhalte verständlich zu kommunizieren
Affinität zu klaren Prozessen und Freude daran, komplexe Sachverhalte zu strukturieren
Teamplayer mit der Fähigkeit, andere Abteilungen kompetent zu befähigen

WHAT YOU DO

Preparation of regular management reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) for the CFO, budget managers and relevant stakeholders.
Support in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements.
Management of project controlling for artistic productions in close cooperation with project management.
Responsibility for budget, liquidity and forecast planning, including variance analyses, scenario planning and KPI monitoring.
Conducting ad hoc analyses as a basis for management decisions.
Active cost control by cost centre and project, as well as identification and implementation of efficiency and optimisation potential.
Ensuring compliance with non-profit law, as well as reviewing, monitoring and administering contracts.
Central financial interface, both internal and external.
Further development of controlling processes, reporting standards and systems, including participation in the selection of controlling software and responsibility for the IT budget in the finance area.

WHO YOU ARE

Completed degree in business administration or economics, or comparable qualification through training and professional experience.
4-6 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in project-based and/or non-profit organisations.
In-depth knowledge of accounting, controlling and financial planning.
Basic knowledge of non-profit law or willingness to learn quickly.
Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel.
Knowledge of financial software is an advantage – we look forward to hearing about your previous experience.
Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1).
Structured, precise and independent working style and the ability to communicate complex financial issues in an understandable way.
Affinity for clear processes and enjoyment of structuring complex issues.
Team player with the ability to competently empower other departments.
